Our specialty is 'green' real estate listings. We excel at finding green-minded buyers for properties that have a genuine 'eco' aspect to the house, land and/or other buildings.

EcoProperty was founded in 2005 in partnership with Canada's environmental jobs site. Together with partners in the environmental community, we have a unique ability to reach green-minded Canadians. We also have strong links to the local food, organic farming and permaculture community.

We can help you sell, rent, lease, or share your property. We can also help you find property managers/caretakers, housesitters or interns through our environmental jobs and volunteer sites.

Does your property have potential for self-employment, green business, educational or nonprofit projects? If so, we encourage you to include at least a paragraph describing the possibilities. This can attract more interest and also result in broader exposure/ distribution of your listing.

We also welcome collaborative land-based projects such as cooperatives, ecovillages and land trusts who are seeking buyers, members, residents, partners, etc.

Each listing is displayed online and e-mailed to subscribers. The basic fee for listing is $50 plus HST. This helps us cover costs and continue to offer this service. The $50 fee is for a text ad — the ad can be as long as you like, up to several pages, and you are welcome to link to photos elsewhere. Or choose the $100 rate, which includes up to 5 photos. Our deluxe/supporter/corporate rate, $200, includes up to 20 photos. Can't pay? Small nonprofits or others who genuinely can't pay can request a free ad.
